STATEMENT / BIOGRAPHY

My artistic work reflects the tension and harmony between urban and rural life. During my time in the countryside of Florence, Italy, I immersed myself in the rhythms of daily life, translating the landscapes, fleeting moments, and subtle details I observed into paint. Each piece is filtered through my architect's eye, revealing structure, balance, and the quiet poetry of the everyday.

Biography

Born in 1962, he graduated as an architect in 1988 and represents the fourth generation of architects and artists in his family. Over the years, he has showcased his work in numerous group and solo exhibitions and now lives and works in Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

His passion for art began early, inspired by his family’s creative heritage. While studying architecture, he built models, trained in painting under Nora Dobarro, and competed in various art competitions—earning the honor of having his work exhibited at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires in the 1990s.

As a designer, he combines traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology (CNC) to create bespoke furniture, objects, and Zen stones. His exploration of Japanese culture, including years of Aikido practice, influences his creation of meditation benches and minimalist designs.

As an architect, he has led major projects, including remodeling Buenos Aires subway stations in the 1990s and renovating Credit Lyonnais Bank branches across Argentina. He later founded a successful design-build company, delivering custom homes valued in the multi-million-dollar range.
