STATEMENT / BIOGRAPHY

My artistic work explores my historic duality between urban and country life. Stayed for a while in Florence, Italy, in the country side, my paint captures/discovers images/scapes I've seen and enjoyed every day, capturing scenes, details and moments through my architect trained eye.

Biography

 

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1962. He graduated as an architect in 1988. Fourth generation Architect/Artist in the family, coming from Europe, mostly from Italy and England. He participated in several group and individual art shows. He lived and worked for twenty years in Washington DC. Now he lives between Buenos Aires, Argentina; Washington DC, USA and Florence, Italy.

 

His interest in Art started at young age, surrounded by his family artistic orientation. While studying, he worked building architectural models; he studied painting for several years with Nora Dobarro, he also participated in several competitions, arriving to have pieces exhibited in the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires in the 90’.

 

As a designer, he worked the wood using latest cutting technology (CNC) to design and produce objects, benches and tables. He also learned to make Zen stones and fabricates meditation benches, following his interest in Japanese culture after training years of Aikido in Washington DC.

 

As an architect, he remodeled the Buenos Aires Subway Stations in the 90’s, as well as the Credit Lyonnais Bank branches around Argentina among other big projects, winning several national competitions. In the US he started a Design and Build Company reaching to design/build houses worth several millions.
